Ganko is the Kyoto cuisine restaurant and has some branches in Kyoto city. This branch was built as the villa of Suminokura Ryoi who was the wealthy merchant during 16th to 17th century. You can enjoy the meal and seasonal landscape in the garden where Takase-gawa river flows into. They hold the event that you can see Maiko’s dancing and take pictures 2 or 3 times a month (please ask the restaurant). There are some private rooms that seat 120 people.
